  • Yes. If you meet the rest of the eligibility criteria for Internet Essentials, then you are eligible to apply for the program.

  • Yes, if you meet the program guidelines:

    • Must be a low-income veteran who receives state and/or federal assistance
    • Live in an area where Comcast Internet Service is available
    • Have not subscribed to Comcast Internet within the last 90 days
    • Do not have outstanding debt to Comcast that is less than one year old
  • Customers who have not verified their veteran status and receipt of public assistance must provide one (1) form of veteran verification and one (1) form of public assistance eligibility document:

    • Veteran Verification:
      Provide one (1) one of the following acceptable documents for veteran verification
      • DD Form 214: Discharge papers/separation of service
      • DD Form 215: Correction to DD Form 214
      • Veterans Health Identification Card (VHIC)
      • VA ID
      • DD Form 2 (Retired) – Retirees (Blue ID)
      • DD Form 2 (Retired Reserve) – Guard and Reserve Gray Area Retirees (Pink ID)
    • Public Assistance Eligibility Documents:
      Provide one (1) item from this list for proof of eligibility
      • Medicaid
      • Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF)
      • SNAP
      • SSI
      • TANF
      • WIC
      • Pell grant recipients
      • Housing Choice Vouchers (HUD)
      • LIHEAP
      • Emergency Aid to Elderly, Disabled and Children (EAEDC)
      • Federal Public Housing Assistance
      • Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
      • Tribally-Administered Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TTANF)
      • Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)
      • Head Start
      • National School Lunch Program
